You can see that the can is black, and that the photo was taken in Europe. These elements bring us to the conclusion that the can probably contains Diesel, which cannot be ignited with a cigarette.
If that was the case, do you want to tell me that she knew that?
Have any of you tried to put cigaret in gaseline.
It only flames in movies, in real life nothing happens.
I havent belived it, but I have tried it (in small amount).
@eddie: it’s not the gasoline that burns, it’s the gasoline fumes – try it again, and dont forget to write back from the hospital
Besides… being liquid, i’m guessing it cannot burn since putting a cigarette inside of it leaves no oxygen for the fire to burn.
You idiots that want to believe that you can’t spark diesel with a cigarette have never worked as a mechanic. It’s not the liquid fuel that’s the problem…it’s the fumes.
@btmpl2 either way, the cigarette doesn’t burn at high enough temperatures to ignite the fumes. I’ve done it myself…gasoline just puts the cigarette out
it’s not the lit cigarette and the liquid. It’s sparking a light and the fumes. You can pretty safely smoke once the cig is lit. Not exactly a good idea, but not much more stupid than getting back into your car and causing a spark through static electricity.
