Metallica Announce Album Release Date

Metallica have announced a release date for their new album, ‘Death Magnetic’.

According to Metallica.com, ‘Death Magnetic’ will be released around the globe on September 12th. While it’s generally accepted that album’s are released on Monday’s in the UK, it would appear that this won’t be the case for ‘Death Magnetic’ as September 12th is a Friday.

Metallica shot a video last week for the track ‘The Day That Never Comes’ which is expected to serve as the first single from the album. The band will also play a London headline show on September 15th at a venue yet to be confirmed which comes after the band’s headline performances at this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals on August 22nd – 24th.
